Una revisión literaria sobre el turismo de cuencas hidrográfica en el contexto internacional

Resumen

El enfoque de cuencas ha sido un paradigma recurrente
en el manejo y gestión integral del territorio,
derivando en actividades de gran relevancia
para el desarrollo comunitario, como lo es el turismo.
De manera que, resulta necesario generar
las bases conceptuales para la construcción del
término turismo de cuencas. Para ello, el objetivo
de esta investigación fue hacer una revisión literaria
en torno al turismo de cuenca hidrográfica.
El procedimiento metodológico para esta revisión
consideró los conceptos de gestión de cuencas
hidrográficas, enfoque de cuencas y turismo encontrados
en artículos científicos del año 2004
al 2022 en la base de datos Google Scholar y
Sciencedirect. En este sentido, se encontraron
41 artículos, en mayoría en los países de Brasil,
Portugal y México abarcando temas tales como
ordenamiento territorial a través de sistemas de
información geográfica y turismo, que dan pauta
para la conceptualización de turismo de cuenca.
De tal forma que, el resultado de esta aproximación
contempla perspectivas prometedoras para
la conformación de este nuevo concepto, el cual 

permitió realizar una propuesta para generar las
bases para el desarrollo y análisis integral del turismo
en el territorio cuenca.

ABSTRACT

The watershed approach has been a recurring
paradigm in the management and integral
management of the territory, resulting in
activities of great relevance for community
development, such as tourism. Thus, it is
necessary to generate the conceptual bases for
the construction of the term watershed tourism.
In this regard, the objective of this research
was to make a literary review about watershed
tourism. The methodological procedure for this
review considered the concepts of watershed
management, watershed approach and tourism
found in scientific articles from 2004 to 2022 in
the Google Scholar and Sciencedirect databases.
In this sense, 41 articles were found, mostly in
the countries of Brazil, Portugal, and Mexico,
covering topics such as territorial planning
through geographic information systems and
tourism, which provide guidelines for the
conceptualization of watershed tourism. In this
way, the result of this approach contemplates
promising perspectives for the conformation
of this new concept, which allowed to make 

a proposal to generate the bases for the
development and integral analysis of tourism in
the watershed territory.
